House Likely Has Enough Votes To Impeach Biden: Oversight Chair  

House Oversight Committee Chairman Rep. James Comer said it seems the House of Representatives has enough support to begin an impeachment inquiry of President Joe Biden. So reports Newsweek.

us capitol 1533368 640smallRep. Marjorie Taylor Greene has been one of the voices leading the charge to impeach Biden and filed for as much on the first day of Biden’s presidency. Comer said he expects a mid-September impeachment vote to pass.

The article didn't say exactly what the grounds for impeachment would be, but did note that Comer recently asked the National Archives for previously released unredacted versions of emails related to the business dealings of the President's son Hunter and his brother James. The White House called the Republican-led efforts a waste of taxpayer funds.
