Washington State’s New Energy Policy Sparks Lawsuits from Trade Groups, Homeowners  

New rules in Washington restricting propane and natural gas in new construction projects are being challenged in court. So reports the Yakima Herald-Republic.

flame ga98f43f6b 640As such, a coalition of home builders, trade unions, homeowners and others are challenging the requirements in Thurston County Superior Court. The plaintiffs said the new rules would increase the cost of energy, spike building costs and detrimentally impact the labor force.
