Stanford Law’s Diversity Dean Out After Speaking Engagement Controversy  

Stanford Law School assistant dean Tirien Steinbach will be stepping down, per an email announcement from Dean Jenny Martinez. So reports Reuters.

StanfordSteinbach was at the center of a controversial disruption to a federal judge’s speaking engagement last year. Steinbach served two years as the associate dean for “diversity, equity and inclusion” but will be leaving to “pursue another opportunity.”
