Attorney Charged for Smuggling Drug That Dissolves In Paper Into Jail

Eric Clark, an attorney in Oakland County, Michigan, has been charged for allegedly smuggling contraband into the Lakeland Corrections Facility. So reports The Daily Reporter.

jail 1287943 1280Clark acknowledged he went to deliver paperwork related to an appeal for an unnamed client. He did not have contact with the client directly. That paperwork was found to be “impregnated with an illegal substance” leading to the arrest. Additionally, Chief Assistant Branch County Prosecutor Nora Geiger noted the prison has seen a spike in the presence of a new substance known as K2B that can be “dissolved in paper and eaten or smoked.”
