QB Deshaun Watson Facing Wave of Massage-related Civil Suits

NFL quarterback Deshaun Watson is facing at least seven civil lawsuits related to alleged sexual misconduct--and that number could grow substantially. So reports CBS Sports.

texans3Houston attorney Tony Buzbee has filed seven lawsuits, and he says he represents five more women who may have lawsuits coming soon. Additionally, Buzbee says he is speaking with an additional 10 women about possible lawsuits against the quarterback.

Watson is being accused of foul play by several women working in the massage industry. He is accused of sexual misconduct or assault in each of the incidents. The article notes that Watson's alleged pattern of behavior includes using Instagram to hire females he had never met before to give him a private massage. But, once they arrived, he wanted more than a massage.

In one incident, according to a lawsuit, "Watson assaulted the Plaintiff by touching her with his penis." The woman claimed that it became clear he didn't want a massage and hired her because he was expecting "sex."

According to another lawsuit, Watson forced a hired masseuse "to perform oral sex on him." The masseuse says she felt "intimidated and threatened" into complying because she was afraid of what he may do to her if she didn't.

Watson is also being investigated by the NFL. Houston Police have reached out to Buzbee about any potential crimes.
