Tsarnaev Defense: Boston Too Emotional to Host Trial

Counsel for accused Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev has requested his trial be moved to another city, stating they do not believe potential jurors can separate their emotions from the facts of the case. So reports Yahoo News.

A three-member panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit has entertained arguments regarding a change of venue, although that request has already been rejected three times by a district judge.

Juror questionnaires indicate at least some of the potential jurors may have already made up their minds about Tsarnaev. Judge Juan Torruella read from a questionnaire: "With this case, I think a public execution would be appropriate, preferably by a bomb at the finish line of the Boston Marathon." He faces the death penalty if convicted.
