A three-member panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit has entertained arguments regarding a change of venue, although that request has already been rejected three times by a district judge.
Juror questionnaires indicate at least some of the potential jurors may have already made up their minds about Tsarnaev. Judge Juan Torruella read from a questionnaire: "With this case, I think a public execution would be appropriate, preferably by a bomb at the finish line of the Boston Marathon." He faces the death penalty if convicted.
