UNH Law Students Spar, Walkout Over Trans Rights Messaging  

A number of University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law students walked out of class in protest of what they say amounts to administration’s failure to combat hate on campus. So reports NHPR.

lgbtq 2495947 1920The walkout was apparently prompted by an email from the Christian Legal Society that insinuated the recent fatal shooting in Tennessee was fueled by the trans rights movement. Opponents of the group are calling for it, along with the Free Exercise Coalition, to be removed from the campus for allegedly making LGBTQ individuals feel unsafe.
