TikTok Moderators Seek Class-action Status in Trauma Suit Against Firm

Two former TikTok content moderators, Ashley Velez and Reece Young, are suing the social media platform for failing to adequately protect them as the screened “deeply disturbing” and objectionable videos on its behalf. So reports TechCrunch.

TikTokThe reviewers did the work through third-party companies Telus International and Atrium. They are seeking class-action status for the lawsuit much like a similar suit filed against Facebook in 2018.
