N.J. Lawmakers Inching Closer to Deal on Underage Pot Use Penalties: Report

New Jersey lawmakers and Gov. Phil Murphy are moving towards an agreement on how to handle underage marijuana users, an issue that has held up the signing of two reform bills. So reports NJ.com.

cannabis 1382955 1920Murphy was set to sign a set of bills pertaining to legal marijuana use before the new year started. However, he instead called for lawmakers to come to an agreement on uniform civil penalties for underage users. The deadline for an agreement is Monday, Feb. 8.
