Fox, Gretchen Carlson Settle for $20M in Sexual Harassment Suit

Fox News parent company, 21st Century Fox, will pay $20 million to former host Gretchen Carlson to settle a sexual-harassment claim against Roger Ailes, who recently stepped down as CEO. So reports The Washington Post.

Experts have also speculated about the future of the news network and the tenure of its prime-time personalities after host Greta Van Susteren left for unrelated reasons. Former host Andrea Tantaros has also accused Ailes of foul play and alleged that his lieutenants “abetted his behavior,” further complicating matters at the network.

A “handful” of other Ailes-related sexual harassment settlements were reached, although the names and amounts were not made public.
