Appeals Court: Lower Court Has No Jurisdiction in $650M+ Case Against PLO

A U.S. appeals court struck down a $655.5 million ruling against the Palestinian Authority and the Palestine Liberation Organization after they were found liable for supporting terror attacks in Israel. So reports the NBC News.

A cohort of U.S. families alleged the groups supported the attacks and were responsible for the death of 33 people and wounded more than 450, some from America.

The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals determined the lower court was wrong to conclude it had jurisdiction in the case. The appeals court ruled there was not a strong enough tie between the groups and the U.S. for the federal court to render damages.
