Colorado Man Gets Probation for Blowing Up His Home

A Colorado man who set his house on fire after spray-painting the name of his wife’s alleged lover and the words “my wife is a cheater” on it has been sentenced to five years probation. So reports The Denver Post.

The man, 31-year-old William Eugene Lindauer, will also serve four years and six months of work release. He was caught after he called 911 for help with his injured hand and pleaded guilty to arson, stalking and reckless endangerment. Lindauer’s wife had asked for a divorce days before he set the fire, which caused an explosion and more than $300,000 in damage.
