Lawyer Sues Courthouse for Return of Pricey Pen

A Nebraska attorney whose $500 Montblanc pen went missing after he accidentally left his things at a courthouse security kiosk has filed a tort claim against the County Clerk’s Office seeking return of the pen or its exact replacement. So reports the Omaha World-Herald.

The attorney, John Kerwin, says the pen was gift from his uncle, and that, based on his review of a surveillance video, he can identify the court officer who last touched the pen.
