Female Lawyers Earn Much Less Than Men

A female member of the bench or bar earns only 82% of a male lawyer’s or judge’s salary. So reports the New York Times.

While some professions, like “pharmacist” and “computer programmer,” have managed to nearly close the pay gap between men and women, the legal profession still has a long way to go.
