‘Elmo’ Sex Abuse Lawsuits Nixed Due to Statute of Limitations

Because of a six-year statute of limitations, an appeals court dismissed a sex abuse lawsuits against a puppeteer who served as the voice of the “Sesame Street” character “Elmo” for decades. So reports New York’s Daily News.

In the suits, three men claimed that the puppeteer, Kevin Clash, had sex with them when they were underage. A sex-abuse lawsuit filed by a fourth man against Clash is still pending.
