Cyclist Guilty of Vehicular Manslaughter for Killing Pedestrian

A 37-year-old bicyclist who fatally stuck a 71-year-old pedestrian after allegedly failing to stop at a red light has pleaded guilty to felony vehicular manslaughter in San Francisco Superior Court.

 

So reports The Tennessean.

 

Pursuant to the terms of a plea agreement, the cyclist, who is a first-time offender, won't serve jail time, but will be sentenced to 1,000 hours of community service.
