Israel Sparks Controversy with Indictment of Palestinian Teenager

Ahed Tamimi, a now-celebrated teenage Palestinian, allegedly was filmed slapping an Israeli soldier and has since been indicted. So reports ABC News.

Tamimi had previous altercations with Israeli officials and is reported to have bit a soldier who was holding her bother in a chokehold. She was arrested in a raid three days after the slapping incident after “uproar” in Israel. Her father claims the indictment was a baseless political move used to justify her arrest.
