DOJ Announces New U.S. Attorney Appointments, Changes to High-profile NYC Posts

Geoffrey Berman, who used to work for former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, is slated to take over former U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara’s job. So reports The New York Daily News.

Bharara was fired in March. Attorney General Jeff Sessions announced 17 interim U.S. attorneys and said longtime prosecutor Richard Donoghue will run the Brooklyn U.S. attorney’s office. Donoghue will replace Bridget Rohde, who has been the acting Brooklyn U.S. Attorney.
