Lawsuit: Duke, UNC Conspired to Suppress Employee Wages

Duke University and the University of North Carolina are at the heart of a lawsuit alleging the two institutions conspired to avoid stealing each other’s high-skill medical experts. So reports the Associated Press.

Former Duke radiologist Dr. Danielle Seaman brought the suit alleging the reported agreement will “suppress employee compensation” and unlawfully limit employee mobility. The suit could be deemed a class-action matter, possibly impacting medical workers employed between 2012 and 2017. Both schools deny the existence of such an agreement.
