Ferrara was said to have been looking for the whereabouts of a lawyer while Felicia Mennin was hearing arraignments. After being brought to another room to discuss the matter, their heated conversation echoed into the courtroom.
Ferrara is slated for "chambers work" until he steps down next month. His service ends Nov. 8, but he will continue getting paid through the year’s end due to accrued time off. His salary will be reduced to the rate of a criminal court judge and his pension will be adjusted as such.
