Truck Driver Gets $2.2M in Sex Harassment Suit

A Manhattan federal court jury awarded $2.2 million to Raymond Rosas, a truck driver who sued his employer for sexual harassment and race discrimination. So reports The New York Daily News.

Rosas’ suit alleged that Barry Rosenberg, his boss at the restaurant supply company Balter Sales Co., frequently made sexual advances toward him and made derogatory comments about minorities. Rosas also alleged that Balter Sales terminated his employment and filed a police report falsely accusing him of stealing in retaliation for complaining about Rosenberg’s harassment and discrimination.
