UK Man Gets 7 Years for Killing Friend While Testing Bulletproof Vest

A judge in the United Kingdom handed down a seven-year jail sentence to a man who killed his friend by shooting him in the chest in an effort to test his supposedly bullet proof vest. So reports the Guardian.

The judge stated that although the victim encouraged the shooting and the convict was clearly remorseful, the threat to the victim’s wellbeing was obvious and the convict had breached the duties incumbent on any gun owner.
