Court Denies Dead Sperm Donor’s Family a Happy Ending

A court in China has denied the family 0f a young man who died in a sperm bank the more than $800,000 they sought as compensation for his death. So reports the International Business Times.

 

The young man, a medical student, died in one of the sperm bank’s booths while looking at an erotic magazine during his fourth visit to the place in just over a week. He reportedly died of a heart attack.

A Chinese court ruled that he was ultimately responsible for the frequency of his visits, and awarded the family the equivalent of about $31,000 U.S. dollars, plus funeral costs.
