Attorney: Hope Hicks Not Involved in Hush-money Talks

Hope Hicks’ attorney said the former White House communications director was not involved in talks to pay porn star Stormy Daniels to keep quiet about an alleged sexual encounter with President Donald Trump. So reports Reuters.

The statement comes in the wake of newly opened FBI documents raising questions about Hicks’ June 19 testimony in front of the House Judiciary Committee. Chairman of the committee, Jerrold Nadler, has asked Hicks to “clarify her testimony” after citing “apparent inconsistencies.”
