MA Top Court Upholds Conviction of Woman Who Encouraged Suicide
Michelle Carter, who five years ago allegedly contributed to her boyfriend's suicide by encouraging him to kill himself via text message, is legally responsible for his death according to the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court. So reports the Associated Press.
Carter was charged with involuntary manslaughter in the death of Conrad Roy III. Roy filled a truck with toxic gas in a parking lot.
