Ex-Gymnastics Doc Claims Impact Statements Too Hard to Hear

Former gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar wrote a six-page single-spaced letter complaining it was too difficult for him to listen to dozens of his accusers enumerate his purported abuse. So reports NBC News.

Nassar, who allegedly sexually assaulted more than 140 women and girls, claimed County Court Judge Rosemarie Aquilina turned his trial into a "media circus."

He pleaded guilty to molesting seven girls and, according to the plea agreement, all of his accusers will be permitted to appear in court, and if they choose, have an impact statement read aloud. He also faces sentencing in Eaton County Court after pleading guilty to molesting three girls and has already been sentenced to 60 years in prison related to child pornography charges.
