ACC Joins NCAA In Ditching NC Over Trans Bathroom Legislation

The Atlantic Coast Conference announced it will move “neutral-site” championship matches from North Carolina after the state passed a law prohibiting transgender people from using restrooms that correspond with their gender identity. So reports Politico.

The NCAA recently made a similar announcement. The events relocating include “women's soccer, men's and women's swimming and diving, women's basketball, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's golf, baseball and the football conference championship,” originally set for Saturday, Dec. 3, at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte.
