The group members say New York University is infringing on rights they guaranteed in rent stabilization law, which they claim guarantees them exclusive access to park space. The school announced plans to build two new buildings near the Washington Square Village Park, eliminating part of it, as well as increasing public access to other recreational areas WSV Green Neighbors say is exclusive.
