Stanford Apologizes to Conservative Judge Accosted By Protestors  

Stanford president Marc Tessier-Lavigne and law school dean Jenny Martinez issued a statement of apology to Judge Kyle Duncan after a planned speech was disrupted by protestors. So reports National Review.

StanfordThe apology states “staff members who should have enforced university policies failed to do so, and instead intervened in inappropriate ways that are not aligned with the university’s commitment to free speech.” Duncan, who was invited to speak by members of the school’s Federalist Society, said he accepted the apology, but called on the school to take concrete steps to prevent future disruptions.
