MacBook laptop owners who bought the devices between 2015 and 2019 may be eligible for a payout after Apple settled a class-action lawsuit alleging the machine’s “butterfly” keyboards were defective. So reports Boston 25 News.
To that end, payments of up to $395 were approved as a result of the agreement. The MacBooks cited have keyboards featuring “characters repeating unexpectedly, letters or characters not appearing, and keys feeling ‘sticky’ or not responding in a consistent manner.”
