Alec Baldwin Facing $25M Lawsuit After Calling Late Marine’s Sister An 'Insurrectionist'

The family of Lance Cpl. Rylee J. McCollum, who was one of 13 U.S. service members killed by a terrorist bomber at the Kabul airport, is suing actor Alec Baldwin after the embattled actor allegedly called his sister an “insurrectionist” for being present during the Jan. 6, 2021 riot at the Capitol. So reports NBC News.

Alec baldwinBaldwin donated to McCollum’s wife only to later learn the soldier’s sister, Roice McCollum, is a supporter of former President Donald Trump and in Washington D.C. the day of the attack on the capitol. Afterwards Baldwin and Roice exchanged private messages before Baldwin made a post on Instagram about Roice before taking it down a short while later. Roice and the family say that following Baldwin's post, they were hit with a slew of scary and disturbing messages. 

Roice says she never entered the capitol and was interviewed by the FBI and cleared of any wrongdoing..
