NY Labor Dept. Gives Conditional Green Light to Go to Work High, Explains Lawyer  

The New York State Department of Labor released new guidelines with respect to workers who show up to their jobs high on marijuana. So reports WNYT.

cannabis 1032119 640 smallTully Rinckey partner Leslie Silva explains employers are not permitted to discriminate marijuana use while on personal time, but employees can be sanctioned for exhibiting “articulable symptoms of cannabis impairment that decrease or lessen the employee’s performance.” Additionally, employers can no longer use marijuana screenings during pre-employment procedures.
