Inslee has imposed a Monday, Oct. 18 deadline to get the vaccine, but approximately 600 workers have signed onto a lawsuit alleging the mandate is unconstitutional. Inslee said the reason the state has not allowed for testing or mask exceptions is that “testing does not save people’s lives. It just is not adequate to the task.”
