Ex-Barclays Analyst Wins Lawsuit After Boss Described Women As 'Birds'  

Anca Lacatus, a former analyst at Barclays, won a lawsuit filed against the bank after claiming her manager used the sexist term “bird” to describe women. So reports The Financial Times.

BarclaysThe East London Employment Tribunal upheld both her claims of “direct sex discrimination” and that Barclays failed to make “reasonable adjustments” to her schedule to mitigate the issue, which she said extended beyond her request that the manager not use that word. The tribunal will reconvene to decide on compensation.
