Emory U Law Asks Darren Hutchinson to Be Inaugural John Lewis Chair

Emory University School of Law has named Darren Hutchinson as its inaugural John Lewis Chair for Civil Rights and Social Justice. So reports The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.

John LewisThe position, named after civil-rights leader Rep. John Lewis, represents “the biggest opportunity I have ever had in my life to do civil rights work,” said the law professor. Hutchinson has been tenured at the American University Washington College of Law and the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. He has a degree from Yale Law School.
