Mayor Corona Lead Plaintiff in Nevada Elections-pandemic Case

Daniel Corona, the mayor of a small Nevada town, will be the lead plaintiff in a COVID-19 related lawsuit involving polling sites for an upcoming primary election. So reports Talking Points Memo.

Cegavske is making the election largely mail-in due to the pandemic. The lawsuit argues Cegavske’s policy of reducing in-person polling sites to one-per-county will “leave too many Nevadans without a meaningful ability to cast a ballot,” according to the article.
