Norm Pattis, a lawyer representing conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, will not be allowed to practice law for six months after he improperly shared confidential documents, including the medical records of the victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting. So reports Associated Press.
The ruling was handed down by Judge Barbara Bellis with respect to a lawsuit filed by the families of the victims against Jones, who was ordered to pay approximately $1.4 billion for repeatedly calling the massacre a hoax. Bellis said Pattis' actions were “inexcusable” and an “abject failure.”
