Embattled actor Jussie Smollett’s attorneys are seeking a mistrial after alleging the judge referred to evidence as “irrelevant” with the jury present and “physically lunged” at defense attorney Tamara Walker. So reports The New York Post.
The incident occurred as the defense was questioning Olabinjo Osundairo, who said he was financially compensated for helping Smollett stage a hate crime. It was during a sidebar with Judge James Linn regarding Olabinjo’s line of questioning that the alleged lunge occurred.
